<p>I am a 10+ year scholar of the African Diaspora, currently studying Anthropology at Tulane University. Through a combination of off-campus undergraduate study at the Newberry Research Library in Chicago and a 6 year recurring appointment at the Amistad Research Center, I have gained experience in the every-day operations of archival libraries. Though focused on Black/African Diaspora communities, my Anthropological studies have provided me with a great cultural competency to service diverse populations in a variety of social contexts. I'm most interested in continuing work in the museum, library, archival, and educational fields, but can additionally draw upon a variety of work experiences in other fields (particularly retail and secretarial) in my effort to be an adaptable worker.</p>
