<p>I’ve just left the Head Preparator position at the National WWII Museum and think you’re in luck because I have a lot of collections, exhibits, and shipping-logistical know how including experience troubleshooting, packing and installing traveling shows... Conservation lighting, sculpture rigging, mount making, plexiglass bending, art crating, material expertise, bronze conservation, developed mechanical empathy, and a 20 year history installing art, packing art for shipment, and working in museums, galleries, and in art logistics.</p><p><br></p><p>At the United Nations in 2012, while working for Artex, myself and three colleagues installed the entirety of their collection of monumental artworks following the restoration of the campus. </p><p><br></p><p>In 2022, at Preservation Arts, in Oakland, I ran anoxic trial conservation treatments on every Chewbacca costume from George Lucas’s infamous Skywaker Ranch and later packed the entire legacy collection of Charles and Ray Eames at the Eames Ranch. </p><p><br></p><p>I have handled old masters and medieval art on termite destroyed wood matrices, run anoxic conservation on a Klimt and reframed a van Gogh.. Conserved totems, bronzes, polished stainless, and cleared core-10 steel of spray paint. I’ve run art shuttles and road dogged, worked Art Basel Switzerland, and Miami. I ran my own little art services company in Brooklyn when I was young and impractical, and gained lots of experience with pallet jacks, scissor, bucket, Genie, and fork lifts. </p><p><br></p><p>I have 6 years in museums under my belt, and 14 on art services trucks, in galleries, and at estates doing installs. In Oakland I conserved monumental sculpture for clients like Stanford University, and the City of San Francisco. I’ve worked for Musk, Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Robyn Williams, Jony Ive, Larry Ellison, Facebook, Google, the Met, MoMa, SfMoma, LACMA, the Guggenheim, the Whitney, and others with art services and private art conservation firms. </p><p><br></p><p>My preferred work is hands on with clients, and working collaboratively toward project goals where I can fluidly problem solve and be most methodical and organized.
