<p>Hi folks, I'm Colin and I'm an application developer with the Louisiana Department of Health - STD/HIV/HEP Program. I have an intense passion to learn and participate in skill sharing along my coding journey. I love being steeped in the tech community in both the large and local scopes as I will detail below:<br><br>I follow many tech trends through blogs and online experts as well as participating in many conferences such as the annual, three day VueConf 23 as a volunteer, an invitee to Vue Summit 23 and virtual attendee at Figma's Config 2023 and Reactathon 2023.<br><br>I am an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and have dozens of hours working directly under a senior Kubernetes SRE so I know my way around kubectl, yaml manifests and containerization. <br><br>I also care tremendously about the software communities I am a part of as I am the co-organizer for a local software design and development meetup group called Front End Party that averages 35-40 monthly attendees where I arrange 3 expert-level lightning round speakers to present as well as secure food and location sponsorships. I also am interested in mutual aid in my community and for work have also developed applications such as a Harm Reduction Inventory Tracker for field epidemiologists and other health techs.</p>
