<p>I hold a BFA in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with an emphasis in printmaking and pattern design. My passion in life is to ideate and create personal artistic endeavors and to assist others in achieving creative visions for the public to enjoy.</p><p>Currently employed at the Rochester Art Center as sole Exhibition Technician and Graphic Designer, I work alongside our Curator and Executive Director to schedule exhibitions in all seven of our galleries, plan installations with artists, manage staff during installation periods, and design exhibition materials. Through design, I produce exhibition vinyl, gallery guides, didactics, and direct all fabrication projects within our building.</p><p>My talent as a visual artist translates in a community role through connecting with artists by empathetically discussing conceptual themes while workshopping all possible solutions to present artwork in space. I believe successfully displayed art requires a shared vision through all possible angles of perception in order to fully immerse viewers in the most intended contextual form.</p><p><br></p><p>My personal interests include meditation, gardening, writing, fabric/wallpaper design, portraiture, and exploring new recipes to share with my family and community.</p><p><br></p><p>I am interested in relocating from Minnesota to New Orleans.</p><p>Contact: maggiepemberton@gmail.com</p>
