<p>With over ten years of experience in communications and marketing, I am passionate about creating and implementing strategies that promote public health and education outcomes for diverse and underserved communities. As the Director of Communications and Marketing at Dillard University, I lead a team of professionals dedicated to advancing the institution's mission and vision, enhancing its reputation and brand, and engaging its stakeholders and partners.</p><p>As the Communications Team Lead at the Louisiana Department of Health, I oversaw the development and execution of marketing and communication solutions that aimed to prevent and reduce risk factors related to maternal, infant, and child morbidity and mortality. I leveraged my skills in manufacturing process improvement, customer relationship management, and nonprofit volunteering to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally responsive interventions that reached and influenced target audiences.
