Contractor Description

Job type: Freelance Contractor

Location: This is a remote contracting opportunity, with priority given to contractors based in Louisiana.

Desired start period: January 2026

Red Cypress is looking for experienced digital and electoral strategists to support the candidates and campaigns we partner with. 

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Red Cypress to run electoral campaigns
• Design and execute paid media campaigns
• Make recommendations to clients about campaign strategy
• Develop and manage budgets and timelines 

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing electoral campaigns or electoral digital programs 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Deeply held progressive values and passion for social justice
