About SMITH contemporary

Artvoices Magazine is an international art publication dedicated to showcasing contemporary art and culture. We provide a platform for artists, curators, and art enthusiasts to engage with the latest trends and discussions in the art world.<div><br></div><div>SMITH contemporary is different from mainstream art galleries because of its mission, curatorial focus, and intention. We draw upon and champion the artist with a voice redefining all mediums of contemporary art. SMITH contemporary exhibits important, meaningful and necessary exhibitions from emerging, mid-career, mature (established), and blue chip artists. A majority of the work we exhibit articulates the current and past socio-political climate. Our artists have a signature, a sense of purpose and stand for something. We are more aligned with a museums focus on preservation, education and awareness. We want our community and the public at large to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the World we inhabit and co-exist in hopes being a catalyst for humanity.</div><div><br></div><div>Artvoices Books primary focus is to publish books on art, children’s literature, architecture, photography, and poetry. We are an independent black owned publishing company with a focus on women, mature, and LGBTQ authors and artists of color.</div>
