A local fulfillment company located in the Kenner area is seeking to fill a Full Time Order Packer position. Hours are from 8am to 5pm. Off Weekends and major holidays.
Overview of Warehouse/Order Packer position:
- Responsible for carrying out Logistics and Operations Managers’ instructions and requests
- Employee is to work closely with supporting departments to perform accurate warehousing procedures
- Building and breaking down of pallets
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Employee is to work closely with supporting departments to perform accurate picking and packing procedures
- Fill orders from packing slips
- Ability to identify products by description and quantity and package it for safe shipping
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins
- Perform general housekeeping duties (emptying trash, cleaning up packing area, etc.)
- Check for accuracy in loading and unloading of materials
All applicants must:
- Be 18+ years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to read and comprehend instructions and procedures
- Able to periodically bend, kneel and climb
- Able to record information
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Forklift experience a must
- Able to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing before hiring
- MUST be dependable and punctual
