At Piety and Desire Chocolate, every step is the most important step. From sourcing revered varietals directly from farmers and producers to roasting, refining, conching, and creating - we filter more than 5 generations of New Orleans food experience through studies of chocolate-making in 5 languages, mixing old-world craftsmanship with new-school knowledge to create breath-taking chocolate using Louisiana sugarcane. Aside from being the only chocolate factory in New Orleans proper, P & D is known for their bold and beautiful bonbons, making them one of a very few chocolate manufacturers who also create bonbons, another art and science in and of itself.
