About A New Way of Reentry Project

<p>A New Way of Life Reentry Project is an organization dedicated to helping formerly incarcerated individuals successfully reintegrate into society. We provide critical support through housing, workforce development &amp; education counseling, pro bono legal services, family reunification, advocacy and leadership development to individuals navigating the challenges of reentry. </p><p>Our mission is to empower communities with opportunity where justice impacted women heal, excel, and lead while disrupting systems of oppression and harm.</p><p>We believe in… </p><ul><li><b>Valuing:</b> Every person has inherent value and holds the power of possibility and transformation within them. </li><li><b>Investing:</b> Public resources are better invested in opportunities for transformation than on prisons and punishment. </li><li><b>Leading:</b> Formerly incarcerated people must be at the forefront in creating solutions to the incarceration crisis. </li><li><b>Healing:</b> Incarceration of one family member affects the entire family. The healing process must involve families as well.</li><li><b>Mentoring:</b> By sharing the ANWOL model locally, nationally, and internationally, we are influencing and fostering profound and positive changes in areas with the greatest need.</li></ul>
