Job Description
unCommon Construction (uCC) is a nonprofit that uses the build process to empower youth to lead the workforce after high school or college. Through our apprenticeship program, students from different high schools join a diverse team to earn hourly pay, school credit, and “Equity Award” scholarships for building a house or other project from start to finish. Apprentices experience a real-world learning environment where they develop skills and relationships that last as long as the projects they build together. For more information, please visit www.uncommonconstruction.org.
uCC is currently seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and goal-oriented Development Manager, Grants & Reporting to help us secure, steward, and report on at least $2,000,000 in funding from institutional donors specific to public and private foundations. The ideal candidate will be a skilled individual with strong grant writing experience with a range of institutions, have a proven ability to communicate about complex strategies alongside the organization’s tactical implementation, and bring experience in overseeing data management and reporting functions to support fundraising goals and objectives for nonprofit organizations.
The compensation range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 and will be eligible to receive performance-based incentives, a 5% match of 401k contributions, a flexible time off policy, and opportunities to enroll in employer-subsidized health benefits, among other benefits.
