Description

Torsh Inc., is an education technology company that produces Torsh TALENT,  a secure, online, cloud-based coaching and professional learning platform through which all of the disparate elements of coaching (observation, feedback, goal-setting, goal tracking, data gathering, community building, training and certification) can be organized, tracked, implemented and managed. Our core mission is to improve student outcomes by increasing educator effectiveness and we do this by helping schools and organizations increase educator instructional capacity, improve the delivery of educator professional development, and generate insights into educator effectiveness. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a balance of experience in early childhood education and SaaS sales to help drive growth in our early childhood business. The ideal candidate will excel at building new relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving new sales strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets. Success in this role requires excellent communication, self-motivation, and a growth mindset within a scaling company environment. This role reports to the VP, Business Development, and requires a motivated self-starter who can thrive in a collaborative, remote setting while working autonomously and managing work independently.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify, target, and close new business opportunities within the early education and early intervention sectors
  • Serve as a TORSH Talent subject matter expert, easily and clearly communicating its value and benefits to prospective clients
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to meet aggressive sales goal targets
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure efficient and effective pipeline management and follow through
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market needs
  • Provide compelling product demonstrations and presentations, tailoring solutions to meet unique prospect needs
  • Build a long-term portfolio of customers and manage a multi-faceted business pipeline
  • Participate in relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate new business
  • Continuously monitor industry trends within sector, to stay ahead of emerging needs
  • Regularly update leadership on sales pipelines, forecasts, and progress toward meeting goals



Position Requirements


Knowledge & Experience


  • 4+ years of experience in early childhood SaaS sales
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education, care, and/or intervention, paired with a passion for supporting educator and practitioner development
  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to effectively match customer needs to product capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with Hubspot CRM, Google Workspace, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with Asana is a plus
