Job Description

Beignet Fest is in search of a Marketing Intern to work over the next 3 to 4 months ahead of the annual festival, as well as onsite at the festival on Saturday, November 16, 2024. This paid internship is almost fully remote with a schedule of regular meetings that will take place in person two to four times a month with the event producer and/or event committee. 

The Marketing Intern’s duties will focus on event promotion and ticket sales as follows:

  • Train on and become familiar with our ticketing platform to pull sales reports and monitor sales trends, as well as fulfill sponsor, donor and other special ticket requests
  • Act as a liaison and respond to online customer inquiries daily
  • Help organize the onsite box office; assist with training of ticket sellers and scanners
  • Assist with Box Office operations on the day of the event
  • Create final sales reports post-event
  • Help capture and assemble social media videos and photos at local vendor locations using your iPhone to send to digital marketing firm for posting
  • Assist with light graphic design work using Canva, as needed

Job Start: August 5, 2024

Job End: November 22, 2024

Schedule: Approximately 5 hours/week August-October + 10 hours/week November; Day rate for event day.


Hourly Rate: $12/hour
