About The Committee for a Better New Orleans
<p>We work to build and empower community leaders in New Orleans. </p><p>For over 55 years, CBNO has been helping people understand, navigate, and influence the decisions that influence quality of life in New Orleans. We believe that an equitable, sustainable, and thriving city is possible when community leaders are educated on the context behind decisions, engaged in decision-making processes and connected with decision-makers and one another. </p><p>We accomplish this through: </p><p>- Education: Teaching leaders about civic issues and the systems that govern them</p><p>- Advocacy: Promoting policies and practices that are transparent, inclusive and equitable, and</p><p>- Connection: Bridging the gaps between residents, businesses, and government, and building community in everything we do.</p><p><br></p>
