<p>Recognized for its fresh approach and “youthful, rule-bending style,” the nonprofit Birdfoot Festival brings artists and audiences together to make and experience dynamic chamber music. Birdfoot’s playful and engaging performances connect the timeless themes of classic masterpieces with contemporary sounds, creating unforgettable musical journeys. Drawing inspiration from New Orleans’ musical traditions, Birdfoot’s international music festival each May draws artists and audiences from across the nation and six continents. Now celebrating its tenth season, the festival’s annual programming includes artist residencies, its award-winning Young Artist Program for local students, and multiple performances and events in communities throughout the city. </p><p>Birdfoot Festival is a season of music-making that explores our entwined relationship with the natural world from March 10-18, 2023.
