ASH Hotels, in partnership with local developer Nathalie Jordi, acquired a historic development site in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans. The site consists of existing church, rectory, convent, and school buildings. Through a strategic rehabilitation ASH is currently redeveloping and re-positioning the underutilized and vacant city landmark into a 71-key hotel and community space, creating significant value for both the immediate neighborhood and greater region.

The 2317 Burgundy Street complex (typically referred to as the St. Peter and Paul Church and School campus) is comprised of four separate historic structures, totaling approximately 50,000 square feet with an additional 28,000 square feet of landscaping, parking and open space.

The Marigny neighborhood begins one block downriver from the French Quarter. (The site itself is six blocks from this border.) The neighborhood was designated a historic district in 1978, and is celebrated for its Creole and Classic Revival cottages as well as its traditional Shotgun houses. Its distinctive architecture, eclectic restaurants and European influences have continuously drawn artists to both live and work there, and its location just across Esplanade Street from the French Quarter has established it as a tourist destination for decades.
