About Hi New Orleans Hostel
<p>HI New Orleans is a brand-new hostel in New Orleans. Hostelling International USA's first location in New Orleans, this property on the edge of the French Quarter will welcome thousands of guests from around the world each year. As part of HI USA, a non-profit organization, HI New Orleans' primary goal is to promote cultural understanding. We do this by helping our guests from different countries and backgrounds get to know each other, and by striving to immerse our travelers in local perspectives on the cities they visit. Each of our hostel staff members will play a vital role in helping us introduce guests to New Orleans' vibrant culture and communities. </p><p> </p><p>HI USA is a proud member of Hostelling International, a network of over 2,000 hostels worldwide. HI USA operates over 50 hostels in the U.S., welcoming about one million travelers each year. As a non-profit educational organization, we re-invest all profits into programs that promote tolerance through travel. These include free educational programming in hostels and cities across the country, free overnight stays for volunteer service, and travel scholarships for low-income youth just beginning their journeys.
