Job Description
Small business seeking seasoned digital marketer & social media manager with an entrepreneurial spirit for part-time work. This is a remote position. Contract at $25/hour or per proposal with deliverables. Please submit portfolio including social media and results along with resume and cover letter.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, build & execute ongoing social media strategies and content calendars that align with business goals
· Collaborate on content ideation, then execute and manage creation
· Optimize company pages on various platforms to improve search engine rankings via keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and monitoring algorithm changes
· Execute email marketing campaigns with creative director, segment email lists and track campaign performance
· Improve efficiency of digital marketing campaigns by identifying areas for improvement in UI, landing pages, and conversion funnels to increase conversion rate
· Foster community interaction on all platforms
· Utilize analytics to drive customer engagement, website traffic and revenue growth
· Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing web data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then presenting action plans
· Reports directly to CEO & works closely with COO
· Measure and report monthly performance metrics, results, and ideas for future campaigns
· Leverage existing assets including large customer base and established, highly regarded brand for revenue growth, and look for new opportunities and innovations
· Occasional live events coordination and coverage
Qualifications:
· 1-2 years of digital marketing or social media management and strategy, either in house or at an agency
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, email marketing, web design
· Detail-oriented and able to effectively multitask
· Fluency in English
· Proficiency in MailChimp, Shopify, Instagram, X, and Facebook
· Experience with web analytics tools
