Role Overview:

We’re looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and use their sales skills to help scale our growth. Rasa.io is a fast-growing SaaS company that is using cutting-edge AI technology to change the way organizations send email newsletters and communicate with their subscribers. We have hundreds of clients all across the globe and are seeking new team members to help scale our growth. You’ll report to and work directly with leadership to meet and exceed sales goals across all active markets.

Note: Most of our team is based in New Orleans, but our team works fully remote.

A Day in the Life:

The rasa.io BDR will:

  • Be responsible for developing business growth opportunities for rasa.io. This is done through developing a pipeline of new prospects primarily via email, LinkedIn and phone outreach in order to increase rasa.io SaaS subscription sales and services.
  • Conduct daily outreach activities to cold contacts through outbound activities including email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Meet or exceed sales outreach quotas in order to secure meetings between interested prospects and sales team for product demonstrations (from both inbound and self-sourced leads).
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to initiate the sales cycle with specific, targeted demand generation campaigns with prospects.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of rasa.io AI tech and platform and be able to clearly articulate the advantages over competitors.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas for overall sales activity.
  • Diligently log, organize, and maintain data on sales activity and prospect outreach.
  • Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, communications, etc.)

We are looking for someone with:

  • Willingness to contact and sell the rasa.io solution to cold contacts
  • Ability to qualify prospective customers and generate leads
  • Ability to rapidly learn and apply new strategies for pre-sales outreach
  • Attention to detail & great organization skills
  • Contagious positivity and above average level of curiosity
  • 1-2 years of experience in tech sales (or equivalent)

Bonus points if you…

  • Have experience implementing and using prospecting tools including HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Apollo
  • Have a track record of exceeding quota in your previous positions.
  • Have a strong desire to work in sales

Compensation:

The Business Development Representative will be compensated with a combination of base salary, variable compensation, and benefits.
