About Prospect New Orleans

Prospect New Orleans is a citywide contemporary art triennial that showcases the work of diverse artists in a variety of public spaces, cultural institutions, and independent venues across New Orleans. We are dedicated to engaging the local community and visitors from around the world through thought-provoking exhibitions, events, and educational programs. Our sixth iteration of the exhibition: Prospect.6: The Future Is Present, The Harbinger Is Home will take place in New Orleans from November 2, 2025 - February 2, 2025.

Job Description

Prospect New Orleans is in search of Programming Assistants to support Prospect’s programs during the 2024-2025 triennial season. Core responsibilities will be  supporting set up and break-down of venues, managing guests and check-in tables, gathering and organizing materials, and supporting Prospect’s Program Director and Programs and Audience Engagement Manager with event responsibilities. Applicants who are detail oriented, efficient, and energetic, and interested in the New Orleans arts community are encouraged to apply.

P.6 Program Assistants will report to the P.6 Programming Team, and other Prospect staff as needed.

Competitive candidates will be flexible, creative, and ready to support with a smile.
