Job Description
TMG Consulting is seeking current graduate school students in economics, business, or planning programs for a paid consulting/planning project-based internship anticipated to start in June 2022. The position will run through the summer with the potential for extension. This project-based intern will be activated on an as-needed basis, dependent on company project loads.
TMG Consulting (www.tmgconsulting.net) is a New Orleans-based urban planning firm specializing in transportation, public infrastructure, economics, and engineering. With over 30 years of experience, TMG’s portfolio includes a wealth of clients, both public- and private-sector, in a multitude of industries and in many locales.
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented economics, business or planning graduate student:
• with a demonstrated interest in urban planning
• with excellent research and writing skills
• with excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• with excellent communication skills
• with proficiency in Word and Excel
• comfortable reaching out to third parties for information via phone calls and emails
• capable of juggling several disparate tasks at the same time
• available on-demand for 15 or more hours a week, determined by company project load
• must have a reliable Internet connection
• international students are welcome to apply, but must be legally permitted to intern in the USA
• familiarity or experience with the real estate industry is a plus
