Responsibilities:

Provide support to the instructional program with specific responsibilities for performing clerical functions related to collection, processing, circulation, maintenance and inventory of library materials, including but not limited to:

· Implement age appropriate programs for students utilizing library resources and selecting

   appropriate items in support of classroom instruction

· Perform routine maintenance and operating checks on media equipment to ensure availability of

   equipment for school site use

· Perform circulation activities in order to control the use, location and availability of items in the

   collection

· Prepares electronic and manual reports (collection statistics, scheduling reports, renewal

   information, overdue lists/fines) to provide documentation and information to others

· Processes new student library cards, notices of missing materials, damaged or overdue books and

   media materials in order to secure reimbursement for losses

Certification / Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent -OR- possess an Associate's Degree

· Two years experience with word processing, use of computers, and general office

    procedures

· Ability to manage multiple projects and time lines simultaneously

· Ability to effectively and efficiently perform multiple forms of data entry using

   various computer applications

· Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders

· Successful experience working with students preferred
