Job Description
The Role: The Business Operations Manager will lead, supervise, and manage all of business services, and company support functions. The Business Operations Manager will report directly to the Principal and manage the overhead budget for the company, keeping all company proprietary systems in strict confidence.
Duties:
The Business Operations Manager functions as a member of the management team, responsible for instituting systems that provide effective internal management. Has direct responsibility for managing and providing strategic leadership and oversight to all of business services and company support functions. (Administration, Accounting, Office Technology, Human Resources, Training, Contracts, Insurance, Certifications, Licenses (Business Professional), Marketing and Sales (Business Development) and participates in the general management of the company in close support of the Principal.
Responsibilities:
· Primary responsibility for the business and service functions, with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance with Firm policies and procedures
· Develop business management goals and objectives that drive company growth
· Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness
· Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
· Assess overall company performance against objectives and KPIs
Skills: Certified PMP or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
Education: Bachelors or master’s Degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Public Policy, Finance, or related field, and 4+ years’ experience in consulting or professional services industry.
