Job Description
NANO LLC is searching for an ambitious, creative, and highly organized Marketing Intern who brings knowledge of communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing Intern will work closely with and assist the Marketing + Business Development Manager with PR / Press activities, social media and website management, graphic design and content creation, presentations, and proposals. The marketing intern must be an organized multitasker who is able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- · Collaborates with team to develop branding messages and social post and campaigns.
- · Assist with PR / Press – pitching ideas, researching publications, helping with media outreach.
- · Conduct market research, identify marketing trends, and ensure competitiveness.
- · Assist with graphic design / creation / management of company print marketing collateral (brochures, project sheets, business cards, leave-behinds, etc.)
- · Respond to project + company award submissions.
- · Maintain social media profiles (content creation, graphic design, strategy, creative writing), gather performance metrics and identify areas of improvement.
- · Manage website updates.
- · Assist with project proposals and RFQs (prior experience not required / expected).
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in business, sales, communications, or other related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign at a minimum) and MS Office preferred.
- Attention to detail and strong team communication skills
- A passion to help solve problems and find alternate solutions
- Excellent copywriting, communication, and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Creative, innovative, out-of-the-box thinker
- Sense of humor and positive attitude
