Job Description
Zara's Lil' Giant Supermarket & Po-boys is a local independent supermarket seeking employees with customer service passion in the deli department. Full and part-time positions available. Open 7 Days 7:30 - 8:30pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Deli Clerk - Deli Clerks are responsible for preparing, packaging, and serving deli products to customers. Their main responsibilities include weighing and portioning food items, maintaining high standards of hygiene, keeping their work area clean, greeting customers and keeping them happy, and taking orders.
The ideal candidate must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Great customer service skills are a must. Flexible schedules available! The job requires standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects. Only honest, dependable, drug free employees need to apply.
