Job Description
BILINGUAL (Spanish/Arabic) PARALEGAL POSITION
Trostle Law is an immigration only law practice in New Orleans, LA handling detained and non-detained cases. We are LGBTQ and woman owned.
This is an in-office position, located at 4902 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Compensation is negotiable. Benefits include PTO & health insurance.

Requirements:
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be fluent in Spanish (will also consider a fluent Arabic speaker)
• Strong writing skills in English/Spanish.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
• Proficient with technology such as Microsoft Word & Adobe.
• Must be comfortable interacting professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to track and meet deadlines.
• Must be comfortable with a large and fast moving caseload of various case types.
Duties:
• Support the work of the attorneys in their representation of clients before EOIR, USCIS, BIA, juvenile courts, etc.
• Liaise with clients to obtain documents and information.
• Draft pleadings, cover letters and declarations.
• Assemble evidence, compile applications / petitions for relief.
• Conduct country conditions research.
• Correspond with clients and potential clients via text, WhatsApp and email.
• Other duties as assigned.
