Job Description

Salary:

  • $110,751-$122,922

Work Duration

  • 240 Days
  • 7.5 Hours

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the project manager for new and upgraded projects. The project manager makes recommendations for the selection of technology, prepares purchase orders, supervises physical plant preparations, coordinates the installation process, assists with staff development opportunities, and provides technical support.
  • Facilitates the development of the technology budget, and maintains appropriate accounting information to maintain fiscal responsibility.
  • Manages the operation of the Technology Help Desk. Monitors logged calls, coordinates efforts of the technology to resolve difficulties, follow-up on resolutions, and notifies the Superintendent if further action is required.
  • Facilitates and supervises the District's cyber security program to protect district networks and devices in collaboration with state and federal agencies.
  • Analyzes technology services to determine future funding requests and coordinates the application process for all E-Rate eligible services.

Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher,  preferably in computer science, computer information system or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology services.
