Job Description

Under supervision from the Compensation Manager, the incumbent Consultant supports, administers, and recommends solutions in support of the administration of the University’s compensation program, policies, and practices for classified and unclassified positions with an emphasis on market competitiveness and preserving internal equity. The position is responsible for data integrity and auditing to ensure Compensation and Benefit programs and processes are maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and University policies and regulations. The incumbent Consultant solves issues of diverse scope where sound judgment and evaluation of factors are required.

Minimum Qualifications: 


A Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years' Human Resource experience (which may include student, intern, and/or part-time experience)

or 

A Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year as a pure Compensation professional
