Senior Client Services Associate – Goss Wealth Management

Goss Advisors is looking for a highly skilled service-minded associate with a positive attitude who enjoys problem solving and meeting the needs of our advisors and clients. The Client Services Associate will report directly to the Managing Director of Investments. The position will be located in New Orleans, LA.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

The position of Client Services Associate is a dynamic role with a diversified number of assigned daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, service-minded associate with a positive attitude who enjoys problem solving and meeting the needs of clients. The primary responsibilities will provide customer service and sales support to a financial advisor in a busy office. Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills and being self-motivated is a must.  The ability to provide strong administrative support and prioritize multiple job tasks is necessary to successfully perform the job functions.

Qualifications

·       5 years of securities industry experience within organizations providing investment advisory services. 

·       Experience with Fidelity Clearing and/or LPL Clearing preferred.

·       FINRA Series 6 or 7 preferred.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance or other business-related field or equivalent professional experience preferred.

·       Skill in operating various office and software programs (i.e., Microsoft Office, Redtail CRM).

  • Ability to communicate professionally in writing or verbally with co-workers, advisors, and other business units as required.

·       Ability to clearly and concisely explain complex information.

·       Ability to collaborate, be proactive and provide recommendations.

·       Ability to communicate and project a positive, professional attitude with co-workers, customers, and various business contacts in person and over the telephone.

·       Ability to develop professional relationships and maintain confidentiality.

·       Ability to investigate, research, and resolve problems.

·       Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks within established timeframes.

·       Ability to pay close attention to detail, work under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines.

·       Ability to continually stay updated with new information.

·       Ability to be at work on a regular and predictable basis.

·       FBI background check required

 

Duties and Tasks:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Provide exceptional service to clients. Be an advocate and resource for the clients.
  • Answer telephone calls and greet visitors.
  • Answer inquiries for current and prospective clients
  • Perform research, create accounts, transfer funds and enter trade orders
  • Follow established procedures to perform routine compliance related tasks
  • Assist with financial products of varying complexity
  • Create reports using portfolio software programs
  • Perform other duties as assign
