Job Description
Overview
Deep Fried is a full-service, New-Orleans based creative and interactive agency. We help businesses reach their potential by building memorable brands and cross-channel campaigns that speak to their customers.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to assist our Digital department. In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on campaigns with our digital marketing team. The Digital & Social Media Marketing Intern is responsible for aiding in the placement of media across all digital platforms including display, social media, paid search, as well as drafting and scheduling organic social media. This is a paid internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Setup: onboarding, KPIs, goals, attribution & audience development
- Drafting and scheduling organic social media
- Digital Media: placement, campaign management & optimization across digital, social & paid search platforms
- Analytics, Insights & Reporting
The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in and an interest in learning:
- Multi-channel, full-funnel marketing
- Media planning and budgeting
- Media vendor landscape, offerings, and inventory (local, regional, national)
- Presentation skills
- Strong math skills for auditing and reconciliation of expenses
- Extreme organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Applicants should be current students or recent graduates of relevant media / marketing degrees or programs, seeking a career in digital / social media marketing.
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week, and up to 30 hours per week.
Location
This position is located in New Orleans, LA and is an in-office role.
