Job Description
The Closing Coordinator works to efficiently and professionally monitor a file from its inception through closing and transfer to the Post Closing/ Audit Department.
The Closing Coordinator is the liaison between Delta Title Corporation and our clients, and therefore must be able to clearly and comprehensively communicate with all parties. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize are critical attributes to ensure that all clients leave their closings satisfied.
Duties to Include:
- Collect all information required to begin processing a file in a timely manner.
- Order abstracts and any additional documentation or information required.
- Review Commitment for any curative work, address minor issues, and work closely with the Attorney to address major issues.
- Assemble packages for Lender, payoff, and Clerk of Courts.
- Maintain the privacy of non-public private information.
- Maintain a Clean Desk Policy and protect NPI as required by Delta Title's internal policy and ALTA's Best Practices.
- Other duties assigned/ required.
Education/ Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Real Estate Title Industry/ Notarial experience preferred.
