Job Description
Salary:
- $63,00-$84,840
Work Duration:
- 183 Days
- 9 Months
- 7.5 Hours/Day
Responsibilities:
- Setting rigorous yet appropriate learning outcomes
- Establish supportive relationships with students
- Engage students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real world discussions and learning activities
- Develop authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions, especially pertaining to students with special needs
- Develop plans (IEPs, behavior plans, service plans etc.) that are data based and support the growth and development of students
- Collaboratively work with team to fulfill the mission, vision and beliefs of both the school and the district
Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
- Louisiana teaching certificate with certification in Early Interventionist preferred or Mild/Moderate 1-12
- Type A, B or C - or - Level 1, 2 or 3 certificate
- Experience in creating and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
- Knowledge in the area of instructional methodologies for students with disabilities and Bulletins 1706 / 1508
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
