Job Description
PR AND DIGITAL CONTENT CREATION INTERNSHIP
About:
As a Public Relations and Digital Content Creation Intern at Associated Terminals and Turn Services, you will become an essential part of our Marketing and Public Relations Department. In our department we create, post, and analyze content to share company culture, highlight the workforce, and promote strong marketing content.
This paid internship entails 15-20 hours per week. The position will be based in Chalmette, LA, with options for a hybrid position. No remote positions available.
About Associated Terminals and Turn Services:
Our companies, Associated Terminals and Turn Services have grown to be the premier provider of marine services in the Gulf South Region, with its primary concentration being the Lower Mississippi River. With a team of 1,000, we consistently strive to instill a team-centric work environment of hard-working individuals.
Skills and Qualifications Include:
- Digital Media Content Creation Experience
- Social Media Skills
- Strong Work Ethic
- Experience with Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Etc.)
- Prefer candidates working towards a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Strong Writing Skills
- Creativity
This internship entails the following responsibilities and provides growth in the following skillsets:
- Creation of media content and graphics for use in marketing, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Help produce and analyze marketing, promotional and recruitment campaigns and internal relations and retention strategies.
- Utilizing social platforms and digital content to create stories with the goal of building an audience. Our platforms include, but are not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Additional Marketing responsibilities may include advertisements, press releases, print publications, newsletters, website maintenance, special events, and community relations
- Occasional collaboration with our HR Department.
