Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at GeistM, you’ll assist with envisioning and building new product features and strategies for our companies’ web applications (both internal and public/client-facing), as well as help maintain and grow our company websites and properties. While our primary product and engineering focus is on our proprietary martech and data aggregation platform, Blackfire, you’ll also have an opportunity to work on a diverse set of other internal projects and technologies.


We store, process, and deliver analytics and insights across billions of records, and handle 10M's of traffic daily - so we encounter and solve a lot of interesting challenges both in processing large data volume, and in then displaying that data (and calculated insights therein) in new & useful ways for our analysts and clients.


You’ll be part of a relatively small, close-knit, and cross-functional team that is responsible for the full development life cycle of our technology products and services, from conception to deployment. You should be a collaborative team player with significant B2B and SaaS experience and subject matter expertise in advertising and marketing technology.


As a remote-optional organization (presently remote-first due to COVID-19), we are highly collaborative and heavily focused on learning from and mentoring one another. Our whole org includes ~160 awesome people. We’re somewhere in between ‘startup’ and ‘enterprise’, and enjoy a nice balance of useful internal process & structure, without the excess bureaucracy or red tape often associated with larger orgs. We’ve been in Inc 500 and Crain’s Fast 50 list for several years in a row, with significant YoY growth every year since we were founded in 2013. This posting is for a new role, with the intention to further accelerate the growth of our team and products.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant product management experience with complex operations
  • Experience leading product and/or technology teams
  • Proven success in delivering technology products in a high growth environment
  • Prior direct experience working with SaaS and technology services; 
  • Data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis skills, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs.
  • Strong leadership and written/verbal communication skills, and ability to synthesize sophisticated topics and distill key business dynamics.
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities, and accurately judge and adjust prioritization when working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams including engineering, marketing, and operations; capable of using outstanding influencing skills, and strong senior-level communication abilities to drive decisions.
