Job Description
Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT Specialist
Contract opportunity with the University of New Orleans Foundation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Gift Processing
· Ensure gifts and pledge entries are accurate and in compliance with current CASE and IRS substantiation standards.
· Process gifts and pledges daily including those made via online giving pages, credit card charges, electronic fund transfer (EFT), etc. from multiple funding sources. Review all gift deposits and follow up as needed to ensure fund designation and donor information are accurate and complete before batch entry.
· Process online event registrations, and profile updates and run import/export integrations between Raiser's Edge and other digital platforms daily, or as scheduled.
· Work with Foundation accountants as needed to ensure all gift entries reconcile and are entered correctly.
· Produce and distribute all gift receipts.
· Maintain the accuracy of giving records for all donors.
Database Management
· Update large numbers of constituent biographic and demographic information within the database as new information becomes available from outside mail houses, internal sources, or utilizing online research tools.
· Support the interfaces between donor, alumni, and university information systems; execute imports and exports; perform related record reconciliations
· Produce daily, weekly, or monthly gift reports as needed.
· Run related reports as directed
Required Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Raiser's Edge 7 and NXT database software system
Desired Qualifications:
· Professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting services.
· Knowledge of integrated software platforms such as Financial Edge, Omatic, GiveCampus, Emma, MailChimp, Gravyty
