Job Description
As an HVAC Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support Commercial Maintenance & restoration of large Commercial Projects around the New Orleans area. In this HAVC Technician role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule (The project is ongoing- Immediate Need) Travel Pay or Per Diem not available.
The pay rate for this job is $25 - $32 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Review HVAC System maintenance procedures and Processes for proper Maintenance.
- Inspect for Leaks and ensure the proper function of HVAC Systems & Components.
- Maintain coils & cleaning treatments according to defined contracts.
- Diagnose and repair following schematics or Blueprints as needed to meet project & renovation needs.
- Perform teardown, Cleaning, & repair or replacement of components as needed for each project assigned.
- Follow company policies, procedures, & privacy requirements for all work.
- Complete projects safely & timely reporting as needed by the company assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential or commercial HVAC work preferred.
- Current/active EPA Universal or other HVAC Credentials are a plus.
- OSHA 10 construction Certification or a willingness to obtain it is a plus.
- Ability to Check refrigerants and other HVAC components with gauges and meters.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prior experience in the HVAC Installation and Maintenance field preferred.
- Prior experience using cleaning & Performing Maintenance on HVAC systems a Plus.
- Some Positions may require a background check or drug screen prior to site entry.
