Salary: $60,000+ for full-time, $50/hr+ for part-time

Who You Are

We are seeking a mid-level Consultant to join our team to support the Senior Consultants in developing proposals for clients. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for developing compelling narrative and attachments for funding proposals for clients across all geograhies. 


Outstanding candidates bring an interest in writing compelling arguments, a diverse background, and a passion for strengthening organizations to advance their missions. The ideal candidate is experienced in drafting proposals across different types of institutiones (especially government and corporate requests) and a collaborative team member.


We are looking for a dedicated professional who can:

  • Successfully coordinate projects from inception to conclusion
  • Review and assess RFPs for client fit
  • Develop arguments for funding that meet RFP requirements, leveraging data
  • Work collaboratively in a team to a common goal


Qualifications include:

  • Experience drafting proposals for nonprofit and/or forprofit entities, with a preference for experience in economic development.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, including executives and coordinators.
  • Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience writing about both racial and gender equity.
  • Computer proficiency with specific capacity to use the tools necessary to manage work remotely (Google Drive, Dropbox, Zoom, Google Meets, Airtable, etc.).


We aim to have equity woven throughout our work and are dedicated to recruiting a team with the diverse experiences necessary for us to effectively accomplish this goal. While experience writing proposals is critical for this role, lived experience in the communities our clients serve is prioritized.
