Job Description
Trinity Episcopal School is an early childhood through Eighth Grade co-educational school located in the Garden District. Trinity Episcopal School’s mission is to build confident, resilient upstanders on a foundation of academic excellence, moral responsibility, and faith who are prepared to make a positive difference in the world. We offer a challenging curriculum that applies the latest and best educational practices, fostering our students' intellectual, spiritual, moral, and physical development within a creative and nurturing learning environment.
Trinity Episcopal School in New Orleans, Louisiana, is searching for a full time Assistant Teacher in our Les Enfants Division. The classrooms have some of our youngest learners; we expect our staff to be aware of the needs of children from approximately 15 months through four years of age. The successful candidates would be expected to work with young children, their families, and other faculty/staff members in an ethical and responsible manner both on campus and in the community. A degree in Early Childhood Education and classroom experience in a similar setting are preferred. We are laying the foundation for upstanders who are gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave.
Working at Trinity Episcopal School is deeply rewarding. Our dedicated faculty and staff work hard to foster a supportive, caring, and collegial work culture. We seek to hire faculty and staff committed to excellence and a commitment to providing every child with a safe and loving school community. Trinity Episcopal School offers a benefits package designed to provide for the well-being of its employees and their families. Benefits for full-time employees include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; competitive compensation and retirement benefits; paid personal and sick leave, tuition remission, and a myriad of professional development opportunities.
