Job Description
$4,300.00 per year
TIME FRAME: THIS IS A SHORT TERM, SEASONAL POSITION
April 13 to May 8, 2026

POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage on-site aspects of the Beverage Operation under the direction of the Beverage Operation Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for set up, breakdown and maintaining operations and staff for the wine bars (before, during and post Festival, and any other bars as needed.
- Supervise, schedule and manage all beverage staff for the wine bars.
- Assist in recruiting and staffing for beverage operations if needed.
- Implement and maintain product inventory tracking, storage, replenishment, and security.
- Implement and maintain all policies and procedures for Beverage operation.
- Coordinate and maintain cashless operation equipment including employee assignment, reporting, batching, charging and storage.
- Provide additional support as needed to the Beverage Operations Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Employee must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
- Any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival belongs to
- the Jazz Festival and must be given to the Festival through your supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
- Must complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports.
- Employee must be capable of performing other work-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 5+ years in beverage operations or related field
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, managerial, production, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, clerical and administrative skills.
- Self-starter, problem solver, with ability to work under adverse and stressful conditions.
- Must be able to prioritize and meet established deadlines. Experience in special events planning helpful.
