Pay rate: $15.00/hour

TIME FRAME:THIS IS A SHORT TERM, SEASONAL POSITION.

April 13 to May 08, 2026

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide support for the Beverage Operation Office.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Offer office and clerical support for the Beverage Department as required.
  • Establish and manage a dispatch system for the beverage operation to centralize all calls and requests, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate beverage operation staff based on area of responsibility and urgency.
  • Maintain a detailed call log to monitor progress and completion of tasks.
  • Assist with inventory tracking as necessary.
  • Provide additional assistance to the Beverage Operations Manager or other Beverage Operations team members. This may include troubleshooting and reporting for point-of-sale systems, conducting inventory counts, and handling permit copies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Utilize the Absentee Request Form for accurate reporting of absenteeism.
  • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues.
  • Submit any intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival to the Festival Finance Office as required.
  • Attend and complete all required training sessions.
  • Submit Feedback Forms and Final Reports promptly.
  • Perform any additional work-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration or event-related work.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with managerial, production, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, clerical, and administrative abilities.
  • Self-starter and problem solver who can perform under adverse and stressful conditions.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in special events planning is advantageous.
