St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie, Louisiana, is seeking an experienced Prep Deli / Server to join our Dining Services team with an immediate start date.

Founded in 1947, St. Martin’s Episcopal School is a coeducational independent day school serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Our faculty and staff work together to live out the School’s mission of preparing students to thrive in college and in life through faith, scholarship, and service.

Position Summary

This position supports the daily operations of the school dining program and is responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining the salad bar, serving meals to students and staff, and helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and deli station setup
• Prepare and maintain the salad bar
• Serve food to students, faculty, and staff
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintaining sanitary work areas
• Follow all food safety and kitchen procedures
• Support dining services during school events as needed

Schedule

This is a full-time position during the school year and part-time during the summer months.

Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend hours required for special school events.

Previous Food Service in a school setting is a PLUS.
