Position Type: Part-Time (20-35 hours TBD) | Flexible Schedule | Weekend Availability Required
About Us:
We are a small, creative wedding and event floral studio dedicated to designing beautiful, custom arrangements that bring our clients’ visions to life. We value collaboration, attention to detail, and warm, personalized service.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Floral Designer to join our team( 5 years of experience minimum) . The ideal candidate has strong design skills, enjoys working directly with clients, and is comfortable guiding couples through wedding and event floral consultations. This role is perfect for someone looking for a flexible, part-time position in a supportive small-business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements for weddings and special events
- Assist with wedding consultations and communicate confidently with clients
- Help prepare, process, and maintain fresh flowers and supplies
- Support event setup, installations, and breakdowns as needed
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth event execution
Qualifications:
- Prior professional floral design experience 5 years minimum (weddings/events preferred)
- Comfortable conducting or assisting with client consultations (2 years experience )
- Friendly, personable, and professional communication style
- Strong sense of design, color, and floral mechanics
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend availability required
- Must own a reliable vehicle for transportation to the shop and event locations
