Job Description
Salary:
- $69,770-$92,721
Work Duration:
- 10 Months
- 200 Days
- 7.5 Hours/Day
Responsibilities:
Coordinates, administers and interprets student evaluations in cooperation with other multidisciplinary team members in order to deliver findings and results to families and school administrative personnel, which includes but is not limited to:
- Maintain accurate case records on all assigned students and update as appropriate
- Participate in case conferences, School Building Level Committee (SBLC) sessions, IEP/Placement meetings in order to confer with teachers, parents and other professionals and suggest and/or direct intervention procedures in the school, work and/or community
- Provide in-service training and consulting for teachers and other personnel in order to efficiently provide educational services to students
- Collaboratively work with team members to fulfill the mission, vision and beliefs of both the school and the District
Certification Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Education
- Certification by the State Department of Education as an Educational Diagnostician
- At least one year of teaching experience in Special Education
- Experience in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans PREFERRED
- Experience in staff development/ providing in-service training and support PREFERRED
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all stakeholders
- Must have ability to work with and travel to multiple school locations
