Are you a compassionate Primary Care Physician seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact in an underserved community, and still provide comfortably for your family? Look no further than St. Thomas Community Health Center!
St. Thomas Community Health Center is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our clinic (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine).
We are driven by a shared vision of addressing long-standing disparities in healthcare, promoting cultural humility and a welcoming environment, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
We provide an excellent pay and benefits package (including parental leave, abundant PTO, 401k with 6% match, and employer-paid Life, short, and long-term disability insurance).
Qualifications:
· While we prefer 3 years of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Medicine and Pediatrics.
· Board-certified in one's specialty (or pending) by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
· Provides exceptional, culturally competent care to patients in a collegial atmosphere.

St. Thomas is an FQHC with a 39-year legacy of providing high-quality, affordable, comprehensive healthcare in the heart of New Orleans, regardless of ability to pay. Our mission is to bridge the gap in healthcare access for those with limited options. We have 7 clinic locations in the New Orleans area and 4 in-house pharmacies. In addition to comprehensive primary care, we also provide specialty care in Cardiology, HIV Care, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Nephrology, OB/GYN, and Optometry. We open Monday- Friday 7:30 am to 5 Pm. Saturday morning clinics are available and provide additional compensation.
