Job Description

St. Thomas Community Health Center is seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to join our clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of executive or senior administrative experience (healthcare environment preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience preparing formal committee or board-level minutes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Exceptional organizational skills, project management ability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Bilingual Preferred

The position requires sustained focus, strong organizational discipline, and flexibility to shift priorities when needed. Occasional responsiveness to time-sensitive matters outside normal business hours may be required, particularly during audits or regulatory activities.

St. Thomas is an FQHC with a 39-year legacy of providing high-quality, affordable, comprehensive healthcare in the heart of New Orleans, regardless of ability to pay. Our mission is to bridge the gap in healthcare access for those with limited options. We have 7 clinic locations in the New Orleans area and 4 in-house pharmacies. In addition to comprehensive primary care, we also provide specialty care in Cardiology, HIV Care, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Nephrology, OB/GYN, and Optometry. We open Monday- Friday 7:30 am to 5 Pm. Saturday am clinics are available and provide additional compensation.
