Education

Required - High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

Required - None Preferred - 6 months related experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service sills including the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Excellent transcription skills.
• Strong decision making and problem resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize daily assignments in order to meet changing demands.

Job Duties

• Provides patient care.
• Schedules and ensures continuity of care.
• Coordinates referrals.
• Coordinates financial activities. Other related duties as required.
