Job Description

Semi-skilled and specialized field work in reading and maintaining residential water meters; and related work as required.

Position requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working outside under various weather conditions.

  • Walk 3 to 5 miles per day on assigned route
  • Lift up to 50 pound meter coverings.
  • Be able to use a computer (handheld device)
  • Be familiar with the lay out of the City of New Orleans
