Our Mission
iSeatz drives enduring brand loyalty through exceptional, connected experiences. Our digital commerce and technology solutions enable travel and lifestyle bookings for the world’s leading brands in financial services, travel, and hospitality, including American Express, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Qantas, and more.
What We Do
We have a history of long-term trusted relationships and innovation that drives tangible value to our customers through a customizable, scalable, and secure platform, a global third-party marketplace, and loyalty integration. Our proprietary platform processes over $9B per year in transactions.
We aspire to put our customers at the heart of every decision and exceed their expectations with best-in-class solutions and business-value innovations.
What you’ll do
The Senior Design Engineer reports to the Design Architect and collaborates with other agile, cross-functional teams to craft consistent and successful end-user experiences.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and technical implementation by driving holistic front-end development across products, ensuring design intent is consistently and systematically realized.
Your Impact
Application of Expertise
- Drive the implementation of holistic development across products, ensuring development aligns with designs.
- Influence and collaborate broadly across product, business, and design teams to promote consistency and scalability.
- Partner closely with Design Architect, Product Designers, Front-end Architect, Developers, and Product Owners to build and maintain consistent and systemic components.
Collaboration with Internal and External Teams
- Collaborate with product managers to review stories and functional requirements for new features and initiatives
- Work in an agile environment partnering with product teams, frontend architects, and developers to implement systemic front-end components and adopt them into the broader company ecosystem.
- Works closely with the Design Architect to ensure the design solutions are implemented systematically.
What you bring to the table
- Work Ethic: Embodiment of the iSeatz core values of Accountability, Disciplined, and Impactful
- Experience: At least five years of relevant professional experience contributing to a design system that powers a multi-tenant white-label product or website
- Front-End Development: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue, or Angular; skilled in cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and semantic coding best practices.
- Accessibility Expertise: Deep understanding of WCAG and WAI-ARIA guidelines; experienced in accessible component design, screen reader and keyboard testing, and integrating accessibility into scalable systems.
- Design System & Tooling: Experienced with Figma (including plugin and API development), Style Dictionary, Storybook, and Chromatic for managing, documenting, and testing design tokens and components.
- Collaboration & Workflow: Skilled in Git/GitHub, Jira, and Agile methodologies; comfortable working iteratively with cross-functional, distributed teams; excels in improving dev processes to conform to best practices and code standards
- Technical Communication & Continuous Learning: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and quickly adopt new technologies and tools; portfolio demonstrates system thinking, scalability, and accessibility in code.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel approximately once per quarter to engage with teams in a co-located environment.
Bonus points
- Ability to readily admit to mistakes and quickly learn from them to make the product better
- Ability to solve problems quickly by identifying root causes
- Self-motivated, eager to seek out problems and establish long-term solutions
- Understanding that user experience is key above all else, and is best served by partnering with others
- Excitement about making an impact by accomplishing smart work and reducing complexity
Location
This role is remote-first and can be located anywhere in the continental United States - feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer! iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours. While we support flexible schedules, some roles—particularly those with direct client collaboration—may require alignment with client time zones for key meetings and real-time communication.
What We Bring To The Table
iSeatz has been honored as an Inc. Magazine Best Workplace for the past two years — recognition based on our commitment to transparency, trust, and open communication, as well as our efforts to foster growth for our team members beyond their current roles and responsibilities.
We trust our team members to use their expertise and creativity to deliver high-quality results — without micromanagement — and support them in building careers that are as dynamic and multifaceted as the work we do.
We believe there's no one-size-fits-all approach to engagement or collaboration. That’s why we strive to provide the tools, autonomy, and support employees need to succeed — while delivering exceptional products and services to our customers.
We recognize that great work deserves meaningful support. At iSeatz, we provide competitive compensation and a comprehensive suite of benefits to match. Our team members enjoy robust health insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, generous paid time off, and up to eight weeks of paid parental leave for eligible caregivers. We’re a remote-first company that values flexibility and autonomy, and we invest in continuous learning with an annual professional development allowance. Whether you're growing your skills, your family, or your impact — we’re here to support what’s next.
We Value A Diverse Workplace
We are committed to building and maintaining a culture of support, awareness, and sensitivity about the importance and impact of our differences and leverage these differences to build a stronger iSeatz.
If reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and/or to receive other benefits and privileges of employment, please contact the People Operations Team at humanresources@iseatz.com.
A Note About Joining Our Workforce
At iSeatz, we're building a team of bold thinkers, innovative builders, and thoughtful collaborators — people who are excited to make an impact, grow their careers, and help shape the future of travel and loyalty tech.
If you're energized by meaningful work, passionate about creating exceptional experiences, and ready to bring your unique perspective to a team that values trust, growth, and transparency — we can't wait to meet you.
