Job Description

4-Day Work Week, Full-Time Position, Fully Remote.

Imaginal Marketing Group is looking for a Marketing Assistant. The ideal candidate for this fully-remote, client-facing position takes initiative, is super smart, learns by asking questions, is part detective, and is completely dependable.

They have an innate knack for communicating clearly and seeing a vision to life. Then can clarify what is needed, what should happen next, and what could be even better… More than anything, they care about making our clients happy– and not settling for less.

The right person would make themselves invaluable to our Accounts Teams—and Clients—while simultaneously learning a lot about agency life. This position is a natural gateway to both Sales and Project Management, and our mantra is, if you’ve got the skills, we’re all about moving you onward and upward.

We require:

• Superior communication skills

• An intrinsic drive for excellence (if it’s you, you know)

• A passion for helping others

• A positive attitude and team-oriented work ethic

• Doing what you say you’ll do, or communicating otherwise

• A solution-oriented approach to life

• Mad multi-tasking skills (and most likely restaurant experience)

• Superior listening and organizational skills

• Good grammar, manners and a sense of humor

• An innate pride in your work and care that it’s done well

• A love for tracking things down, preventing pitfalls, and double-checking for accuracy. This drive is what separates the good from the great (in life, and marketing).

No experience needed, if you’re a proven high-achiever and people-lover. You don’t have to be a marketing expert, but aspire to be one someday.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing multiple projects at a time, from branding, graphic design, marketing plans and budgets, website

development, online marketing strategies and more

• Acting as liaison between clients, sales and production teams to keep projects moving forward

• Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, owning projects to completion

• Communicating client feedback to internal teams; and vice versa

• Proactively addressing challenges as they arise

… all with a caring and authentic communication style that comes easily to you.

About Imaginal Marketing Group

Map Pin IconOrleans ParishCompany Profile

Imaginal Marketing Group specializes in marketing for the Fashion and Beauty industries with a unique niche supporting salons and spas. Our library of successful, affordable programs has been endorsed by some of the most respected names in beauty. We also have extensive experience with restaurants, non-profits, events and technology companies.

Our work has won numerous awards including more Salon Today STAMP Awards than any other company and 44 Addy Awards (American Advertising Federation). In 2015, we were named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private US companies. Our work is often put up against projects that have much higher budgets - proving that money never replaces creativity and passion.

Relationships are important to us, and we especially value ours as a preferred vendor with Neill Corporation, The Salon People, and Aveda (an Esteé Lauder company).

Founded in 2005, IM Marketing currently has over 25 full-time employees.

IM Marketing is guided by some extraordinary people with a lot of experience and a lot of talent. It's no coincidence that many of our leaders have won "Ad Person of the Year" from the American Federation of Advertising.

We are very selective about inviting people to join our team – we like positive people who are problem solvers – and incredibly smart, and incredibly dedicated. We think you will see that in your first conversation with anyone on our team.

Speaking of teams – that's how we work. Every account is assigned a team of people who are responsible for making sure the work we do is the best it can be. So whatever the project, our clients are getting the benefit of many caring individuals.

Maybe most importantly, we like to have fun. Resonate with you? We'd love to meet you.
