The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team. As an Ingest SDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers, engaging with restaurant operators and decision-makers, and nurturing leads to convert them into qualified sales opportunities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative company in the Data Analytics and Restaurant Technology industries.
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
- Conduct extensive research to identify potential restaurant customers and key decision-makers within targeted regions and markets
- Initiate outbound calls and emails to engage prospects and create interest in our restaurant technology solutions
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and identify opportunities for potential sales
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to hand over qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition from prospecting to Sales conversion
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, interactions, and outcomes in the CRM system
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the restaurant tech space to effectively position our offerings
Skills & Abilities (What You’ll Bring):
Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage prospects effectively over phone and email
- Excellent active listening and questioning skills to understand customer needs and pain points
- Self-motivated and driven
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple prospects and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry, its operations, and emerging technology trends
- Experience with Salesforce
